Class Policies:

  • Class space is limited so reservations are a must.
  • Classes require homework be completed before the next scheduled class.  If you know that you will be unable to complete the homework, you should wait until the class is offered again.
  • If you will not be able to attend all of the sessions, make up classes are not guaranteed.
  • Each class is based on a specific project or list of skills.  If you complete the project or master the skills early, the class will be released early.
  • Class attendees MUST select the materials for their projects prior to the beginning of the first class, so that classes will start on time.  If  yarn purchased for class is in hanks, it must be wound into balls or cakes before class starts.
  • Yarn for classes MUST be purchased at Knit Your Dreams.
  • To avoid distractions and allow everyone to focus on the class, please do not bring others with you who will not be participating in the class.
  • If you are ill, or have an ill child home from school, "PLEASE" call and schedule a make-up class.
  • Please silence your cellphone while you are in the classroom.
 Project Assistance Policy:
Assistance will be given depending on how busy the shop is.  If you need help on a project, please call ahead to make sure you won’t be interrupting a class and that someone will be available that can help with your type of project.  If the yarn you are using for a project was not purchased at Knit Your Dreams, there will be a $5.00 fee for assistance.  If I need to spend a lengthy amount of time helping you (over 30 minutes), there may be a $5.00 fee, regardless of where the yarn was purchased or it may be recommended that you take a class.
